This blog starts as a summer lab and will share and welcome comments about writing, reading and musings, which may include thoughts about life, love and the pursuit of happiness. It also can serve as a forum about education, which is an interest.
I think this is a great idea! Were you thinking to use this as more of a homework assignment or to use during class time? This might work for some of our MTSS time. We could have some groups rotate on the computers during the week.
ReplyDeleteI am re-reading Jane Austen's Emma. Every so often I have to read through all Austen's books, again. It helps to keep me grounded in sanity.
ReplyDeleteI just finished "Pajama School" by a local homeschool graduate, Natalie Wickham. It was cute. I am now reading "Catholic and Christian" by Alan Schreck and "Catholic Christianity" by Peter Kreeft. Oh and at night I am reading a scary book called "Daemon" about computers that kill people. lol
ReplyDeleteI think "Daemon" sounds just like a computer that would kill someone. Remind me to stay away from him. I just finished a Chelsea Handler book that my sister gave me for my b-day. It was hilarious! She is certainly no Jane Austen but it was fun to read on my lunch breaks.
ReplyDeleteI started to read "Are You There Vodka? It's Me, Chelsea." Whooa way to hard core for me. After a few chapters, I felt like I needed some KoolAid to watch out my eyes.
